Coalition for Economic Improvement

 

The Coalition for Economic Improvement is comprised of business, government, and nonprofit agencies working together to empower low and moderate income taxpayers to improve their economic position. The Coalition provides free tax help and financial literacy training for individuals and families in Ada and Canyon Counties, with a focus on low- to moderate-income, elderly, non-English speaking, disabled, and students.

TAX HELP AVAILABLE AFTER APRIL 15 FOR BOISE RESIDENTS

Boise - Free tax preparation will still be available for taxpayers who normally don't file a tax return, but must this year to receive their stimulus checks.  The Coalition for Economic Improvement, in conjunction with the ITS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance program (VITA), will be open every Tuesday, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm through June 24, 2008, in the lobby at 2717 Vista Avenue, Boise, ID.
