ITSAP
Idaho Telephone Service Assistance Program

Beginning July 1, 1998,
ITSAP provided assistance to low income participants with installation
costs for residential basic telephone service and/or their monthly costs
for basic residential telephone service whose household income is at or
below 133% of federal poverty guidelines. Currently the assistance
provides a maximum benefit amount up to $13.50 off the total monthly bill, and assists
with 50% off the installation costs, up to $30.00.
The expansion of telephone
assistance provides another tool to move families towards self-reliance.
