Southeastern Idaho Community Action Association helps fight homelessness
SEICAA contributed HOME funds received through the Idaho Housing and Finance Association and funding from its own Self Help Opportunity Program (SHOP). To fill a gap in the funding, SEICAA partnered with Zions Bank to apply for an Affordable Housing Program (AHP) grant from the Seattle Bank. With the $75,000 AHP award, SEICAA constructed five three-bedroom, single-family homes on the land purchased with the city’s help.
